Television Series

Class of 3000 (Cartoon Network/2006 premiere): a half hour animated series that revolves around the adventures of a classroom of musical outcasts and their whimsical teacher at the Westley School for the Performing Arts in Atlanta, Georgia. Co-created with André “3000” Benjamin of the hip-hop duo Outkast. Andre Benjamin lends his talents in both voice and original music for the series.

South of Nowhere (The N/2005-present): When the Ohio-bred Carlin family moves cross country to Los Angeles, they find they are unprepared for the fast-paced, metropolitan environment and the overcrowded, "anything goes" L.A. public school that their three teens will attend. The series was nominated for a 2005 GLAAD Award for "Outstanding Drama Series."

Romeo! (Nickelodeon/2003-present): Master P, a single dad and music industry executive, struggles to maintain a normal life for his children while managing the ambitions of his musician-son Romeo, the rambunctious force behind the family's hip-hop musical aspirations.

The Team (Nickelodeon/2005): Featuring Romeo and the P Miller Ballers basketball team, coached by Romeo's dad, Master P, as they vie to win the prestigious 14 & under AAU basketball championship.

Scout's Safari (Discovery Kids on NBC/2002-2005): Fourteen-year-old Jennifer "Scout" Lauer moves from Manhattan to a small safari lodge in Africa. By discovering this foreign world around her, she will ultimately discover herself. The series received an Emmy nomination for "Outstanding Children's Show" in 2004.

Galidor: Defenders of the Outer Dimension (Fox Kids and ABC Family/2002): Set in a dimension parallel to our own, 15-year-old Nicholas Bluetooth's teenaged existence turns upside down when he discovers that his roots lie in the Outer Dimension.

SK8 (NBC/2001): Aspiring pro skater Josh Raden and his motley crew of friends experience the ups and downs, thrills and defeats of this adrenalin-rush extreme sport.

Just Deal (tNBC/2000-2002): High school students Dylan Roberts and Ashley Gordon make the transition from being just friends to dating, while dealing with a whole range of real teen issues of family, friends and relationships.

Caitlin's Way (Nickelodeon/1999-2001): Caitlin, a tough city girl and an orphan since age eight, faces two options when she gets in trouble with the law: Go to juvenile hall, or move to the wilds of Montana to live with distant cousins.

The Jersey (Disney Channel/1999-2001): A magic football jersey lets two kids live out sports fantasies with the help of some sports superstars, including soccer champions Cobi Jones, Brandi Chastain and Julie Foudy, 49ers Steve Young and Jerry Rice, surfing pro Kelly Slater and skating hero Tony Hawk, among many others.

100 Deeds for Eddie McDowd (Nickelodeon/1999-2001): When the school bully is turned into a talking dog, he can only regain his human form by performing 100 good deeds—with the help of his new owner, the kid who was his last victim!

The Journey of Allen Strange (Nickelodeon/1996-1999): A humorous yet empathetic look at what would happen if an alien, lost and far from home, were to take on the form of an earthbound teenage boy.

The Secret World of Alex Mack (Nickelodeon/1994-1998): Teenaged Alex Mack gains magical powers during an accident in her scientist-father's lab. The series was nominated for numerous CABLE ACE Awards throughout its entire run.

XUXA (Syndicated/1993): Variety show for pre-school and grade school kids featuring XuXa, the Brazilian "Madonna" of her time. This singing and acting icon performed her shows in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.

Riders in the Sky (CBS/1991-1992): An Emmy-winning mixed media series about the famed singing cowboy comedy group.

KIDS Incorporated (syndicated and Disney Channel/1984-1994): An Emmy-winning variety show for youngsters, featuring live and taped performances by the hottest teen bands, singers, and dancers around.


Made-for-TV Family Movies

Red Sneakers (Showtime/2001): Starring Gregory Hines, who made his directorial debut on the project, the film is about a high school student who is given a pair of magical sneakers that make him a great basketball player.

Stray (Nickelodeon/2000): This two-hour movie set the scene for Caitlin’s Way, a series about a troubled, orphaned tween who goes to live with distant relatives in the wilds of Montana.

Alien Vacation (Nickelodeon/1999): Based on the Allen Strange series, the movie follows our alien hero on his first vacation adventure on Earth.

Shadow Zone: My Teacher Ate My Homework (Showtime/1997): This two-hour spoof sequel offers a lighthearted look at horror and high school.

Song of Hiawatha (Hallmark/Showtime/1997): Based on the poem by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, the movie chronicles the story of Hiawatha, the legendary Native American warrior.

Shadow Zone: The Undead Express (Showtime/1996): A teen obsessed with horror films befriends a vampire, who leads him to a whole coven of vampires that hide beneath the New York subways.

The Pathfinder (Hallmark/Showtime/1996): Based on the classic novel by author James Fenimore Cooper, the movie follows the adventures of Natty Bumppo, noble woodsman, champion of the Indians and hero of the American frontier.
