After three years of working on the VMAs, American Music Awards, and New Year’s Rockin’ Eve for Dick Clark Productions, Gary Stephenson began what would be become a fifteen year (and counting) tenure at the Tom Lynch Company. In 1991, Lynch recruited Stephenson to produce his hit Disney Channel series KIDS, INC. When that series wrapped, Stephenson found himself traveling to Valencia to produce THE SECRET WORLD OF ALEX MACK for Lynch and Nickelodeon.
In 1994, Lynch asked Stephenson to come aboard as a fulltime staff executive, overseeing all production elements on all of Lynch’s projects. While running production on such series as CAITLIN’S WAY, THE JERSEY, and JUST DEAL, Stephenson also co-executive produced the Emmy-winning Showtime movie THE RED SNEAKERS. Stephenson’s ability to bring high quality production value to all these projects simultaneously earned him the role of Senior Vice President, making him responsible not only for all production, but for all financial matters as well. In 2006, Stephenson was promoted once again, this time to President of the company. He currently oversees all production, financial issues, and day-to-day operations of the business.
